Emergency Assistance Cover FAQs

We cover Cars and Motorcycles with no age limit.
We cover emergencies related to Plumbing, Drainage, Electricity, Boiler and Central Heating. With Home Emergency Essential Policy, the claim limit is upto to £2,500 a year with individual claim limits at £500 per claim. But we do not cover General maintenance work.
  • Circumstances known to you prior to the commencement date of your policy or incidents which occur within the waiting period; or any pre existing faults.
  • Claims arising after the home has been left unoccupied.
  • Events where on attendance it becomes clear that the call out is not an emergency.
  • General maintenance and events which cannot be classified as an emergency.
  • Leaks which do not cause damage to the property.
Yes, there is an excess fee of £50 payable upon a successful claim and subject to the policy terms.
The Key exclusions/restrictions are: Alternate travel or Overnight Accommodation within the Territorial Limits (UK) if the break occurs within 20 miles of your registered home address. Any claim within 24 hours of the time the policy is purchased. You can make a Maximum of six claims per period of insurance.
